B-E-E-R … say those words and you know there is an occasion. Doesn’t matter if you are watching a game, reality show, playing cards, going for a night out with your dear friends or just in a mood to try that fresh drink out of the keg.
My love for beer started as expected, first time out with friends, sitting by the beach, holding that bottle of precious London Pilsner … ah! the breeze and the taste. Over years beer developed, London Pilsner gave way to Khajuraho, Haywards. Then I moved to Singapore and I had the famous Tiger Beer. I will share more details about these incidents as the blog develops.
For now, let me share what happened yesterday. I am now into trying new beer, be it wheat or pale ale or dark stout. So I went to this place in Dallas called Eno’s pizza (great pizza btw) – couple of beers I tried:
MothershipWit - one of the best beers I have had, yes this is organic wheat heaven my friends.
Magic Hat #9 - fruity and malty! Frankly speaking malty was the word that got to me.
Left Hand Milk Stout – stout, dark and coffee … yum!
The day turned out to be great, cause then we went to The Londoner. It was a first time for one of my friend and so we knew what was on the menu – Chips and Curry. But the goal was still to try another beer and I had Black and Tan (Guinness and harp) on my mind, it was just that kind of a day, finished by Stella Artois.
All in all, I started my blog, spent time with my friends and drank some good beer! Cheers my friends ...
