Happy labor day to all. The weather is amazingly great, want to be all by myself out in this weather and run. Had some great time this weekend. Things got started off on Friday as part of a farewell for a great coworker. It is always great to see good people find new opportunities. I do believe that if you contribute to the pie, the pie will get bigger (vs. only taking your piece of the pie).
Some beers I had this weekend:
Blue Moon (Seasonal): I am a big fan of Blue Moon. In fact so much that I am getting used to it. It is becoming like my bud light (you do not have any other options, do you have blue moon). I hate to say that but things in routine do get boring! So I am glad that most brewing companies (at least the smart ones) introduce variations in forms of their seasonals. This is their Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat and it is a great ale. This one comes without the fruit!
I was just walking around for some grocery shopping and send up @ the Central Market. I will confess that this is the first time I went in there. I am not sure what was with that place but you feel like you are someone important. I guess that is why you pay the big bucks. You also walk down to the aisle where they have beer options and you feel like a brewmaster. You know the beers and you want them :) So I look and look and I finally narrow down to Honey Brown, as I try to walk away, I see something and I have this moment of enlightenment. I see a case (12 bottles) of Dark Session bottles (referred on my post earlier). It was again love at first sight (I know its ironic) but I like to say it. So there I bought it, headed over to a buddy of mine, introduced him this great brew and it was back to good times!
So enjoy this great weather my friends, and if you have a great bottle sitting next to you! Sip Up!
