Who dat, who dat beer?

Was in New Orleans this past week, just a weekend with the guys for a bachelor party. Nothing big the guys wanted to play some good golf and just walk around and listen to music. This is the second time I have been to this city this year, love this city. I think it should be on everyone's must visit cities in the world. The city breathes culture, music and art.

Everyone talks about the good old Bourbon street but very few have wandered into the art district and the back roads with some good old local jazz bars (non commercial). Drinking is easy in New Orleans but again, this blog is not about that. It is enjoying beer, so I go to the hotel bar and ask for a local brew. I get Abita Amber beer, not bad at all for a beer that goes along with the local seafood options.

Special mention would be a restaurant called Galvez, amazing Spanish food. Patatas Bravas and Paellas made it a perfect night to paint the town red.
